Preparing and tuning in to Christmas is different in every family. You can find out how Hungarian Amigurumi Designers tune in to the holiday of love in this series of articles! We have prepared a variety of content for you, which this year is unusually not (only) organized around crochet patterns, so even those who are not (yet) crochet lovers can experience the Advent crochet articles. Recommendation
In the next article of Adventi Crochet, Bubri Crochet brought us a super combination: a mug warmer with a hot chocolate recipe. You can make the mug warmer in the size and color of your choice and surprise one of your friends, acquaintances, or family members with it. If you try the mug warmer together, you don't even have to think much about what goes into the mug, because Niki also includes a delicious hot chocolate recipe with the jasmine pattern mug warmer. I think that all that is missing for this idyllic picture is a crackling fire in the fireplace and a nice warm crocheted/knitted sock with a romantic movie or a good conversation partner that can provide a little relaxation after a tiring day. With such evenings, you can recharge your batteries on weekdays and connect with your partner or yourself, and break away from the usual rush.
I have come across such mug warmers many times, either at Advent fairs or since I am the happy owner of a craft business on social media. To be honest, at first I didn't really understand why it was good or what the raison d'être of such a play was. Until once I managed to go to the Advent market without gloves. Of course, drinking a delicious hot tea, mulled wine, or punch, which is put in these thin paper cups (or I think they are now plastic repo cups), is a must. The hot drink heats up the glass in seconds and without gloves - or a mug warmer - it is impossible to hold it, let alone hold it in your hand for several minutes. I protected this little mischief by asking to borrow my husband's other glove so that I could hold my own glass, but it would have been much better if I had such a super mug warmer hidden in my bag just to be safe. So if you go to the Advent fair, make sure you have gloves or a mug warmer made based on the Bubri Crochet pattern, so you can enjoy the hustle and bustle of the Advent fair and delicious hot drinks!
