Autumn has arrived, which not only means that you can go on fantastic hikes, or that you can admire nature dressed in its colorful clothes, but unfortunately, sicker periods begin with all of this. As with many families with young children, our first month could not pass without some colds and flus, so we can say that tissues have been sold by the hundreds in recent days. Because of this, my tissue holder crochet pattern, which I previously published for free, is not really a pattern, but rather a little guide. That's why I've brought you a few tips on how you can make your own or someone else's very environmentally friendly crocheted tissue holder really special.

Crochet pattern
You can access my free crochet pattern for the tissue holder at the link below and download the instructions for making it:
This isn't really a crochet pattern gives you the opportunity to completely customize the finished pieces to your taste, the range of possibilities is almost endless. You can make it simply with short sticks or half sticks, you can use a single-fold stick, or you can combine them as you like! The stitching is the key to the piece, and making it the right size to match the size of the tissue. This solution is a great alternative to their pre-packaged, plastic counterparts.
Ideas for crochet patterns
If you don't want to follow the simple short stick-single-fold stick line, there are many great stitch combinations, i.e. crochet patterns, with which you can make yours really beautiful. I've been following you on Instagram for a while now Crochet yourself a paget, where Gere Csilla Andrea creates a great collection for beginners and advanced crocheters both. That's right I will show you a few options by linking to his videos, which matching stitch combinations you can work with in this pattern. By the way on his website and the on his YouTube channel you can find a lot of great information about what stitch combinations and patterns exist in the world of crochet. In addition to the patterns, I also highlight the English equivalent, so if you are not looking for the crochet pattern in Hungarian, you can easily find it!
Moss pattern (Moss stitch)
This pattern is really beginner-friendly, consisting of simple double crochets and chain links. THE my temperature blanket was also made with this pattern and I dare to say that it is a very advanced pattern, crocheted with alternating colors it is downright wonderful!
Rice pattern (Rice stitch)
I have only knitted a rice pattern so far, but I really like the surface. An additional advantage is that the front and back are the same, so it can also be an excellent stitch type for scarves, for example!
Spike stitch
You may have already seen this type of stitch in a few patterns. I really like using it to decorate amigurumi, especially with different textures to achieve a really unique effect!
Star stitch
I've been eyeing this stitch for a long time, I haven't tried it yet. I have come across this pattern in very nice scarves, shawls and blankets and I think it has a very nice surface!
Raspberry stitch
This pattern is also based on simple repetitions, but you can acquire additional technical knowledge and practice. The short sticks stitched from the front and the back are also frequent characters in my patterns, so this stitch gives a good opportunity to practice these sticks!
